Jamie Conklin is growing up in modern day New York City as the son of a struggling single mother. Born with an unnatural ability to see those who have passed on, the cost for his abilities is higher than he can imagine when an NYPD detective draws him into the pursuit of a killer who has threatened to strike from beyond the grave.
