Welcome to our new Stephen King Book Club hosted by our favorite fiction professor and Stephen King Podcaster Kim C., host of The Year of Underrated Stephen King.
To continue our journey with Stephen King’s psychic kids, our next book will be The Shining. Join us on July 6th @ 4pm.
Jack Torrance is a struggling writer who takes his family out west for an incredible job opportunity. Caring for the Overlook Hotel over the winter months will hopefully allow Jack to finish his novel and find quality time with his wife Wendy and five-year-old son, Danny.
The hotel has other plans. In the dead of winter, the Torrance family must contend with spirits who never checked out of the Overlook Hotel. These ghosts are incredibly interested in young Danny and will do whatever necessary to get him all alone…
