💜 Important Drink Me! Tea Room Update 💜

Drink Me! Community,

This may be one of the hardest, but also one of the most exciting and optimistic pieces of news I will share with you. First and foremost, I want to say thank you. Drink Me! Tea Room was conceived six years ago after a family trip to London, and MANY afternoon tea experiences there. Since then, thanks to you, we have grown our tea selections and menu offerings, our events, and, most importantly, our community, which each of you is an integral part of. 

With that in mind, I want to share that today marks the end of one chapter and the beginning of an exciting new one. We have decided to close Drink Me! Tea & Treats at the end of today. Beginning on Wednesday, July 15, we will be bringing our two business concepts together under one roof at Drink Me! Tea Room. As part of this transition, Drink Me! Tea Room will no longer offer our traditional full afternoon tea service after July 26. Instead, we are introducing the convenient, flexible grab-and-go concept that so many of you have come to love at Drink Me! Tea & Treats in our original Drink Me! Tea Room space.

It is vital that you know that what isn’t changing is our commitment to quality and sustainability, our focus on a fully plant-based, gluten-free menu, and a space for hosted and personal special events where everyone in our community is welcomed. You can continue to expect the same handcrafted sweet and savory treats, our carefully curated selection of premium loose-leaf teas, locally sourced coffee, creative mocktails and cocktails, and the welcoming atmosphere you’ve always found with us. 

Our new hours, beginning on July 15, will be Wednesday to Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and Saturday to Sunday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Our goal is to extend these hours beginning in August; that’s where we humbly ask for your help! Every visit, every purchase, every recommendation to a friend, and every social media share makes a meaningful difference. 

Summer is traditionally one of the slowest seasons for small businesses like ours. If you’ve been wanting to experience our Alice in Wonderland-themed Afternoon Tea, there’s still time! Full afternoon tea reservations will be available through July 26. We’d be grateful for your support by booking your tea experience today!  Other ways you can support the tea room are by stopping in to purchase a gift card or merchandise (it’s never too soon to get started on your Christmas shopping), hosting a special event or private party with us, attending one of our upcoming events, signing up for our monthly tea subscription, or shopping online with us. 

Toward the end of the month, we will share additional information and updates, including details about our grand reopening, an all-new version of our afternoon tea experience, and new grab-and-go offerings. In the meantime, thank you for believing in our vision, supporting our journey, and growing alongside us. We can’t wait to welcome you back through our doors and continue creating wonderful memories together.
